I have heard of this before but I can’t remember the name of it, or where to find it, please help thanx.
You can use Slingbox from SlingMedia…
I have some old home movies I’d like to put on my computer. They’re on DVD, and whenever I film them, they come up with the lines of the TV over the picture.
How can I upload something from the tv onto the computer?
I need a CLEAR picture.
If they are on DVD and you have a DVD player on your computer, you can get a DVD to MPEG conversion software. There are lots of different software to choose from. I used DVD Rip Master. It cost $30 dollars or you can find it free if you know what you are doing.
If you do not have a DVD player on your computer, it is cheaper to buy a new drive than have to buy a new video card that can capture video from a dvd player.
Good Luck.

i tried everything from display properties to just about every site i found and yet nothng. help.
The problem could be with the type of video your are trying to view. Is the format PAL or NTSC video. NTSC is the US. PAL is another format used in many other countries. Sometimes viewing PAL formatted video produces B&W. Perhaps you should use composite cabling instead. Make sure that your new TV is PAL compliant or maybe you can configure it to view PAL and NTSC formatted video. Sorry I can’t offer more help. Good luck.
I want to play games on my Sony Bravia 32" HD LCD from my computer, how would it look if I did it running a 25 ft. S-Video cable?
Horrible.
S-video supports only standard def (480i) and most PCs look really bad.
Try first with a short cable. If you like what you see, but the longer cable.
I was just looking up 3d tv on the web and i was so amazed what a surprise launch. Less than 6 months a go i bought a plasma (not 3d) and now i feel bad i could have waited till these tv came out. Is there going to be a way to turn your existing tv into to 3d tv.

Does anyone know if there is satellite system available where you can english premiership football free on tv.Is there any motorised satellite system out there. Please let me know if someone is aware of it

No need to SHOUT!
As long as you can link to EUTELSAT’s Hot Bird you should be able to hook up to some European and African channels that broadcast some matches live.
I just got an item on eBay that allows me to connect a computer VGA to a TV, But I can’t get it working! Does any 1 know how to get one working?
P.S. I already know about those VGA transcoder boxes.
That will NEVER work.
Those VGA-to-TV adapter cables you bought off EBay are intended for video cards that have a specially-built VGA port capable of sending out a TV signal. They will NOT work with just any VGA port.
Your laptop’s VGA port is NOT one of those specially-built ones. Which is why that adapter you bought won’t work, and never will.
A waste of time and money.
May seem like a stupid question! I pay for an internet package, but not TV. My tuner is only getting a scrambled/snowy signal when I try to use it. Using Windows Vista and on Gateway DX4300
No, if you are using an antenna, just plug a splitter in and run it to the pc tuner input.
I dont have internet TV available on Windows Media Center. I am currently using windows 7 home edition. And it says that internet tv is not available in all regions. So im wondering if anyone knows where it is available. Thanks.
