My pc came with a TV/DVD watching programme but I presume no TV card as it has no aerial type input socket. Weird I know!
Yes, you'll need a tuner card. These cards come with remote controls and IR blasters that will let your PC control your box.
I don't know what cards are available for the UK market, but google hauppauge, a US manufacturer to gain an idea of what is available. They do make stuff that will work in the UK, but it's not their main business.

I need to put a movie that I made for class onto a dvd but I don't have a usb. I have a wire that has 3 wires coming out of it that are yellow, red, and white. How do I put the film onto a dvd through a tv or computer? Perferably tv
Since you neglected to tell us the make & model of your camcorder or the make & model & OS of your PC you don't have many options!! Consult your manual!! There is a whole section devoted to your answer!! If you don't have one, you should be able to download one from the manufacturers support site.
If you were trapped in a house for 2 years, and theres no one else there, no internet, no tv, no phone (no communication at all with outside world), what things would you do to keep yourself occupied.
What kind of items would you like to see in the house (except for the above items).
Thanks.

No it does not work with dail up.you needa high speed internet connection
has anyone ever downloaded or brought any satellite tv for your pc software which is offered on the internet, offerring anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 channels, and if so does it show a good picture or does it work like the crap you get on your cell (streaming clips every few seconds) or does it show like regular tv (satellite quality).
Its a flat out hoax! These sites promise you world television and charge you for something that is totally free in the first place! These channels are freely broadcast on the net already! No need to pay and they are grainy and poor quality at best!
I would like to watch movies and other programs on my tv from my computer. How can I turn my television into my computer monitor? What programs do I need to buy and install to do this?
You don't need any fancy programs but your graphics card needs to support it. Generally both your TV and graphics card need to have an S-video port (and then you'll need an S-video cable) (see sources for pictures/information on S-video). Then you'll need to plug in your computer using the s-video and look around at your graphics card's configuration utility (nVidia's is the NVIDIA Control Panel, under Control Panel), and look around for the multiple-display setup function. But movies that you're watching on your computer probably aren't in a high enough resolution to look great on a really big TV.
There are other methods of connecting other than S-video, but I'm not familiar with them. Happy hunting.
The signal from the satellite dish has to be received by a satellite receiver to be viewed by any device. At that point, the satellite receiver looks like a VCR, DVD player, cable box, or any other device with composite, component, fiber optic, etc. connectors coming out the back. To view any of these on your computer, you need a frame-grabber (or TV tuner board) installed in your computer.
Run the cables from the satellite receiver to the frame-grabber board and you will be able to watch TV on your computer.
