What channel is Create TV on the satellite?

Filed under: satellite tv channel — admin @ 7:11 am

I always watch Create TV on the tv at work, but the tv at work has an antenna. Does dish network satellite have Create TV and if so, what channel is it on? Thanks.

Create TV is part of PBS and is offered free in over 171 markets. This means that it is one of your local networks on Dish Network or Directv in the channels 1-100 .

It varies depending on your locals but if you do a search you can find it quickly .

can I watch cable tv on my pc?

Filed under: cable tv on pc — admin @ 7:11 am

I have cable service in my place that I am paying for but I just sold my tv. I also have enternet service. I am just wondering if there is a way that I can watch my cable to on my pc without a tv. I sold my tv because I am moving but not for about a week or so.

You can buy a TV tuner from your local computer store. You actually have more flexibility on how you can control/manage what you watch (i.e. schedule recordings, capture still images, e.t.c) because the cable feed interfaces right into your computer. I'd say get it.

I connected the USB cable to the computer from my camera but I still can not find my pictures how do I upload?

Filed under: cable on computer — admin @ 7:11 am

My friend just gave me his old digital camera, which it says FinePix E500 on it. He also gave me a USB cable. I have connected the cable to the computer, but I can not find the pictures, nothing has shown indicating that my computer even notices the USB cable. If there is some kind of software I need for uploading my pictures then can anyone help me figure out what kind of software it is?

You should not need any special software. Some cameras need to be turned on before the computer can recognize it. If you are using a Windows operating system… on the desktop go to My Computer, right click and select Explore. When the window opens, scroll down the list and see if the computer has recognized the camera. If it still doesn’t see the camera, unplug both ends of the cable then reconnect. If this still does not work, try another cable.
If this doesn’t work, open up Windows picture and fax viewer, or a photo editing program. Use File>Open and see if you can see the camera.
All else fails, restart the computer, with the camera connected and turned on… check now.
Not sure what other “tricks” to suggest at this point.
Good luck

Essay help: How was conventional media used to market Cloverfield (print, tv, trailer, web)?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 7:11 am

Dont need to know about the viral marketing strategy used because ive written a large essay on that aspect. Was just wandering if anyone knowes how else they marketed the film

10 points up for grabs ty

You just mentioned it (print, tv, trailer, web) so give a couple of sentences about each one. For example in print, Cloverfield had the poster ad in comic books, magazines, and newspapers. They also had things plastered on the walls in the big cities like NYC. That’s two sentences right there. TV I remember them showing an exclusive 10 minute clip on MTV when MTV was doing that heavily like before or right after Real World.

so that should help I think. sounds like a cool class

Do the satellite companies like Direct TV or Dish Network have redundant systems up there in case a big rock?

slams into the satellite? Sure would make a mess of things if they don't.

An interesting question. I hope they are prepared for all contingencies!

Dont waste your money or your time…..you can easily find stations online for free. Try ovguide for a starter or perhaps joox, fancast, hulu etc.. You will also find that most tv networks (except cinemax, hbo, or any of the subscription sites) all have full episode videos of their programs online for free. CBS ,ABC, Discovery, AE, USA, I could go on forever…
