How do I watch TV on my PC?
I have a freeview box already (with RF and SCART outputs) but most TV cards for a PC include tuners which I don't need cos the box has one. PC has on-board graphics with outputs but no input.
freetube is the place

To get regular TV on your computer you will need a tuner card. But you can get all TV programs from a website called EZTV, which lists them on torrents. Often, shows are listed before they appear on the West Coast. Also, there is a website called Release Log which lists them for download, equally fast and also has the latest movies. And if you have UseNet you can get these fastest of all.
But if you really want to try and watch "conventional" TV without a tuner card the two main programs used to do this are TVUPlayer and Readon. But their selection of channels are different and they do not work all that great.
i want to read one of the articles in the magazine "tv soap", can anyone help me find a website to read it off?
if i were you i'd be more concerned with finding actual soap, because you smell like the back of my nuts.
If television, then what news channel? Fox, Cnn, Msnbc. Who do you like and dislike in the media?
English language short wave stations via streaming on the web. The source below is a link to a web site where you can further link up with the web sites of those stations and download their broadcasts. Right now I'm sitting at my computer in Southern Nevada and listening to Radio Australia via Real Player. I also read the web editions of several English language newspapers, both U.S. and foreign.
I can't stand TV news because it really is just the stuff between commercials for Fixodent or a feminine hygiene product.
I like to watch movies and tv show over net free
Im no help.I could not see the benifit in it smaller screen, smaller speakers, less sound.
i was checking online about the satellite tv for pc. i found one website infosatellitesoft.com. it says on the ad that satellite tv for pc elite edition for 49.95 to download the program onetime fee only then you can get 3000 channels. i am wondering if its legitimate business or a scam, because the company has no physical adrress. i want to make sure if its safe to purchase their product. i am looking forward for your immediate response. thank you.
Ripoff. You can get the player for free. It may not be legal, though, since apparently the player has borrowed code from VLC Media Player without acknowledging the GPL rules, and the program content has probably not been licensed either.
I know about orb and things like that, and I have a wii.
Okay, you have a computer and a TV, and you want to use your TV as the computer's monitor? No problem, there are a few methods:
Some computers have a monitor output cable port, if your television has one too, then you can use the cable that connects the computer to the monitor to connect it to the TV instead of the monitor.
If not, then some computers have a composite cable output, if you do, the cable can be bought at a computer hardware shop, just be sure that it matches on your computer before you buy it.
Newer computers and TVs have an HDMI output. If you have that output on both your computer and TV, then you can connect to the TV using a HDMI cable, which can also be bought from a computer hardware shop.
I hope this info helps, and if all else fails, then you might want to install new ports/ hardware to your computer so that you can. Or if you're feeling rich, get a new TV.
I have a computer, i am using 14′ monitor, if i play video by DVD Drive but vedio size are small so, how can i connect to my Television.

My system have only Audio output, line in and mic. how can i find the vedio out put pin
you must have a video card installed which gives Composite output that too if your TV is capable of
check what are the ports are available on your TV for video it could be Composite Video, Component Video or S-Video
accordingly go for that particular type of video card install it and use the out put to connect to your TV
Can you do that with TiVO? Do you need a IR code to watch cable or satellite tv on computer and have a cable box/ satellite box. Because I only have analog cable TV in Augusta,GA
tivo hd takes a cable card and can tune all the listings from digital cable without Ir.
Both dish and directv have access to the listings grid.
If you have analog tv and want to watch tv on your computer look for a tuner card for computer with qam capabilities. You will need this when digital tv comes along to get the unscrambled channels.
You need to say more clearly what your goal is and others will be better able to help.
