yes you can,but depending on your phone,and computer,when you connect it,it might make a drive for it,so that you can just goto start->my computer-> D:drive ->phone ,and it should have your phone there,then just copy and paste the songs you want into that folder

The people that are recommending maxview are all portable kits and they are good.

But for FITTED satellite systems you should look at the oyster 85 or a dome type like the KVH tracvision or Camos 40 static.

These are 1 touch operation systems.

We got a Camos 40 static in the end from leisurepower in warrington….not cheap, but really good cost us £1800 fitted, but it works great everywhere….even down as far as Barcelona.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. I wanted to connect it to the TV, so that I could watch movies on the TV. How do I connect it, and what parts do I need? Is there a risk of me blowing the tv or the laptop with this sort of connection? If so, Id rather not connect it.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 also and I hook it up to my TV all the time to watch movies.

The best way is through the HDMI port on the left side, which requires a moderately expensive HDMI cable if you don’t already have one. Once both ends are connected, Windows automatically adds the TV as a display and sound device without you having to adjust any settings at all.

The first time you connect it will ask you how you want to use the TV in conjunction with the internal laptop display. I use Extended Desktop, so I can drag a movie to the TV and watch it full-screen while still using the computer to do other things.

If you don’t have an HDMI connection it is still possible to set it up manually using the S-Video port on the right side and the headphone port on the front. However you will get poorer picture and sound quality and you will have to do more work to get it up and running.

e.g., Direct PCTV promises zillions of tv channels free on your pc anywhere in the world, for a one-off payment of around $40 (US money). Sounds a bit too good to be true. Does anyone have experience of this or other things for getting tv channels on your pc?

If someone just bought a regular satellite dish and hooked it up on say the balcony of an apartment would you get English language tv channels in Russia? I guess you can also get English lanuage tv via a cable provider (non-dish)?

Can you get internet via on of those little portable modems that you plug into your laptop? Any idea of the prices? Thanks
