Newly Purcahsed iTunes TV Show keeps skipping on my computer?

Filed under: tv on my computer — admin @ 6:43 am

I’ve recently downloaded an episode from the TV Show Death Note on iTunes. I’ve tried playing it back on both QT and iTunes. As soon as I start playing it, it skips (the audio is fine, however). So my question is, how may I resolve this? I am not sure if it works on my iPod or not, I really don’t want to risk it. Any help is great!
So it’s my computers fault and if that’s true it should work fine on the iPod, right?

Your video card may not be able to play video’s correctly on itunes. I had a similar problem. When I changed the video card, it worked much better.

How do you hook up a tv to a laptop to watch a movie with a s-cable?

Filed under: tv on laptop — admin @ 6:42 am

I hooked up my laptop to my tv using a s-cable. Now mybackground shows up on the tv but when I drag the movie player over to the tv it is blank, it wont play. How do I fix this?

If it’s only showing up blank on the tv, there’s a problem with your graphics card.

If it’s also showing up blank you your laptop, it’s either your media player or your file. In the worst case scenario it might be your graphics card too.

Are two satellite dishes required to receive TV and internet?

Filed under: internet satellite tv — admin @ 6:41 am

I’ve looked on both web sites of DirecTV and Hughes Sat Net and neither answer that question directly. I would have to quess that means two dishes are needed.

Satellite customers in the U.S. typically have a terrestrial Internet service, i.e. DSL via the landline phone company. Direct satellite Internet services do exist, but there are limitations that many customers don’t like, such as very slow upload speed.

A second dish antenna should never be necessary, although it’s not impossible. Uploading Internet directly to a satellite might require a separate antenna in some systems. But again, that only becomes an issue if you’re in the minority that chooses satellite for Internet service.

Satellite is great for TV, but great Internet service (compared to other options) is still in the future.

How could i watch TV or move online at my pc (with out cost) ?

Filed under: watch pc tv — admin @ 6:40 am

I want watch TV or move as like as television on my pc, without tacking a paid membership ?

I see full television episodes online frequently. I put a link for CBS below as an example. You will need to have updated software to watch that won’t cost you anything. I personally have not seen a whole movie online, but have met some people who have for free. An example is in secondlife.com at the theater. You will need to do more searching on that one. I used to watch my DVDs on the computer, but now you either need to have a better version of Vista than Home Basic as I have or get the software that costs about $20. Be careful on the TV episodes, because some you will need to pay for or simply wait until they become available for free.

Is it possible to have cable internet and cable phone and satellite television in your home at the same time?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 9:41 am

I currently have cable internet, cable phone and cable television installed in my home by Comcast. I want to keep the cable internet and cable phone connection, but get arid of the cable television and replace it with satellite television.

So can I have cable internet and cable phone and satellite tv installed in my house at the same time?

Yes…but why? Satellite TV requires it’s own ‘box’, so a seperate TV would be best. Also, to save bandwidth, many satellite providers compress their movies, and you get poorer reception. It may also fade during storms, wind and snow.. I could never be sold on satellite. (You also need a seperate box for every TV.)
