How do you record what is on your television screen and have the file on your computer?

Okay so I am a gamer. I love playong Modern Warfare 2 and I would like to share some of my gameplay onto youtube. I know how to do voiceovers but the problem is that I want to record my actual gameplay. Not record it on a camera but able to record it without the camera. How do you this?

You need to get a Video and Audio capture card for your PC.

Connect the TV to the capture card via the RCA Output on the TV.

You will have capture software with the card and once you have the TV connected you will be able to capture it using the capture software.

what kind of cable and what is the cost for one that goes from pc usb port to a new hd tv?

my goal is to watch my netflix video off my pc since i have no dvd player. also how do you play your own youtube videos continuously so you can watch them when connected with the cable from your pc to your tv? thank you for your time to answer these questions!

Its just a normal VGA cable or if you have a HDMI port on your graphics card you can use a HDMI cable

HDMI cables coast about $100 the good and reliable ones and for you BGA cable just go to your local PC store it shoud be around $25

Can you get an internet connection on your iphone from ur laptop/computer/cable one modem ???if so HOW?

AT&T isn’t "officially" allowing this yet because they have yet to setup a "premium" plan for the iPhone tethering. But if you jailbreak your iPhone you can use programs such as PDA Net to tether your iPhone to your computer with a wireless router….be warned though, using tethering with the iPhone is strictly against AT&T’s poilicies, and if you download too much data over the 3G/Edge connection they will first warn you, and then on another incident possibly cancel your service for breach of contract, so use moderately.

I’m doing this internet tv channel if i had a show like drake and josh airing on it would it be illegal?

Filed under: internet tv channels — admin @ 6:19 am

Even If i had a copyright disclaimer at the beginning of the channel saying im not doing it for a profit and I dont own drake and josh. but i have my channel’s logo on the channel.

Hmm…I don’t think it would be illegal, as long as you have the disclaimer.
It’s like people uploading TV shows to Youtube; if there’s a copyright disclaimer, Youtube doesn’t take it down.

Does anybody know how to connect your laptop to your tv screen through ps3?

Thanx!

if i linked my pc to my tv, could i record the tv screen using capture software?

Filed under: pc tv software — admin @ 6:19 am

I want to link my pc with my tv screen but im wondering if you are able of recording the screen from my tv using capture software

Yes and no.

No, not just using capture software, and not by connecting the PC to the TV. If you do that, you’re just sending output from the computer TO the tv.

To record live TV, you would need a video capture card that has inputs for either coaxial, RCA, S-Video or DVI…basically some way of getting a video signal into your computer. You would then direct capture software to record what it sees coming from the capture card, which would, in turn, convert that signal to a video for playback.

A good, cheap video capture device can be found here:

Help integrating a Windows XP Media Center Edition computer with a TV?

Filed under: tv on computer — admin @ 6:18 am

This is what I have
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 computer
TV
Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 DVR
What do I need, how much am I looking at spending, and how smooth will the interface be?
I’m pretty sure i said Explorer 8300, not Explorer 8300HD. Sadly, it’s not an HD TV.

all you need is a tv tuner adapter for your pc it shoulnt cost to much but they can be pricey if you want high quality.
