Internet television?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 3:19 am

Ive heard alot of rumor about programs that allow you to watch television on your computer. Ive become interested in such a thing, because a one time fee of 30 or even 60 dollars is much better then 50 or 100 dollars a month. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?

You don’t have to pay to watch TV on PC. I know this very good website where you can watch many TV channels online and beside Chat at the same time with people watching the same channel than you:

Want to connect computer to television?

Filed under: television on computer — admin @ 3:18 am

I am trying to connect my laptop to my tv so I can visit websites on my computer and have them go on the television screen and listen to music and hear it through the TV. I’m not sure what kind of hook-ups or cords I need to do this. Please let me know.

It depends on the outputs on your laptop amd inputs on the TV

Mine just has a VGA connector (15 pins)
It works OK, you can even use both monitors at the same time, but no audio on the TV, it’s just like a regular PC monitor

Some newer laptops and HDTVs have HDMI connectors, these have both audio and video signals.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE graphics card. I would like to use the computer monitor while watching Hulu on the wide screen TV. Advice?

I am interested in seeing some answers from experienced people here. I have always wondered the distance you can go with video cables.

hOW TO WATCH LIVE FOOTBALL FREE ON TV THROUGH MOTORISED SATELLITE SYSTEM?

Filed under: satellite tv systems — admin @ 3:17 am

Hello
I was thinking of buying motorised satellite system so i can watch live sports particularly cricket and football(soccer).I talk to one company selling the system and they told me even if you buy motorised system you still have to pay subscription like to watch sky italia. Now i am confused.Does anyone has experience with the motorised satellite system(like someone using now)or knows any particular satellite system where you can watch free live sport.
Thanks

No, you usually have to buy some kind of card or package to watch sport.

My husband has a motorised satellite, but he had to buy an ART card for about £100 to get all the Arabic matches he likes to see.

How to get netflix from pc to tv to watch movies ?

Filed under: watch pc tv — admin @ 3:16 am

Have a router and broadband on windows xp , and have watched movies on pc from netflix , but want to send them to my sanyo flat screen , bought last year , is there something to plug into the back of TV to catch router signal ?

Well, if you have an XBox360, you can do the streaming through there. Or if you have a playstation 3, they’ll send you a disk so you can do it through your PS3. Barring that, there are Blu-Ray players that do it and the much more affordable Roku media player which hooks up to your TV, accessing your Netflix account wirelessly (if you have a wireless router/modem) and displays your queue on the TV.

I have the roku and am VERY satisfied with it.

let me tell you why: 1. coz answering my phone while I’m watching TV programme, and at the moment my PC is doing the downloading or running a virus scan and defragmenting.

Free TV internet sites while outside of US?

Filed under: tv on internet — admin @ 3:16 am

I’m studying abroad in Japan and am looking for some good sites or methods by which I can watch some free TV shows on the internet. I’ve found a few but then, because I’m outside of the US, it won’t let me watch them. Know any that will work outside of the US? Doesn’t have to be brand new. Just preferably whole seasons’ worth and either drama or comedy such as Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Family Guy, Friends, Frasier, The Office…

Thanks

I live in Australia and watch pretty much everything on http://surfthechannel.com/cat/61406.html
