how to setup xbox live with one ethernet cable and no computer?
i just moved into a new house, and I want to get xbox live. I have a 360 and an ethernet cable. I’m planning on having dsl installed, but I don’t have a computer. I figured if they came and put the modem in, i could just plug the xbox into the modem and go online. is this possible?

if its from at@t yeah. If any other then yeah it should work if not get a router for the modem

yes that’s what i do but i have to share the modem ( i use it for 360 they use it for a computer how you hook it up FIRST you put the ethernet cord in the modem and the other end in the 360 then turn the modem off (may end any calls so make sure nobody on the house phone cell phones are okay then wait about 30 sec 10 if you know when to do it then check the connection on the 360

yea just hook up the cord directly from the xobx 360 to the modem and it will work perfectly fine
