PS3 HDMI to DVI cable Computer LCD Monitor Sound?

Filed under: cable on computer — admin @ 10:49 am

Right so I want to play my ps3 on my Desktop screen, problem is I hear that you need to get a ‘HDMI to DVI’ cable as my desktop only has a DVI socket, but I hear that DVI connection gives you no sound? How would I get the sound on there as well?

You would use the DVI to HDMI cable for the picture and then for sound:

1. Put in standard ps3 av cable
2. get the red and white audio cables from the av lead
3. Plug into either monitor( if it has an audio in 3.5mm jack using adapter) or external speakers or hi-fi etc.
4. You have sound as well as HD picture!
