is it possible to have a s adapter from a pc and hook into tv cable and ran to a tv farther away?

i would like to use an adapter from my pc that will hook into existing regular tv cable and run it to a tv thats two rooms away , is that possible ? this would save me from buying new long s cables etc.this is so i can watch tv from my pc thats on internet. hulu, etc . i hope someone can help me about this , i have plenty of regular cable and hope i can use it for most of the connection.

  2. Theres various Video connectors you can use in order to connect your PC to the TV. Depending on how old the tv and PC are, you’ll run into these possible connectors

    VGA (9 pin connector on the computer, most common)

    S-video (6 pin circular connector, common on TV’s, not as common on computers)
    Component( 3x RCA connectors, colored red, green and blue, found on TV’s)
    S-video and Component are compatible via an adapter

    DVI (29 Pin connector, not as common on TV’s, fairly common on computers)
    HDMI (19 Pin connector, fairly common on TV’s, fairly common on computers)
    HDMI and DVI are compatible via an adapter
