i would like to connect my pc to my hd tv . what kind of cable do i need?

If your laptop has a VGA output, and if your TV has a VGA input, then you should use a VGA cable to connect your computer to your TV. If both devices have a DVI or HDMi port, then you should use it.

  1. Any normal cable with prongs with the TV and an USB for the computer.

  2. Comcast.

    I know they do that.

Or call them and ask to make sure.

  4. HDMI would be best if both tv and pc had it. if not use vga (15 pin) to DVI if you have DVI on your tv. again if you don't get yourself a pc to tv converter. this will let you go vga to component/composit/s-video
