I am looking to download Satellite television from the internet to my computer and am looking for a reputable site.
SCAM - The program is a bunch of links to free streaming sites. If it were good, don’t you think it would be advertised all over tv and the internet?

I want to get Satellite Tv. So i would get rid of the cable tv. I still want Phone and Internet from my cable company. I just want my tv from a Satellite company. Will i lose Phone/Internet if i switch my Tv to Satellite?
Does Satellite and Cable use the same line in the house to go to the tv?
No, they will just turn off the video service.

The satellite installer can use the same cable by using diplex filters, but they usually just install more cable.
I live out where there is no cable or DSL hard wired into the ground like most neighborhoods. Although I do have direct TV (satellite dish) and am able to get reception. The kind with 500 channels or whatever. Would I be able to get internet through the satellite dish? Or does the internet have to be hardwired to my property?
You cannot with the dish you receive TV with. You need a separate dish, wiring, boxes, and service for satellite internet.
I’ve been looking to see live tv shows on the internet and I came upon something called satellite direct "watch over 3,500 channels on your computer". Does any one have this? Do you recommend it? Is it worth the $50? What is it like? Is it the real deal?

For the US (Sky is Mexico I believe), Satellite TV and Internet packages can be found bellow.
Dish Network: http://sathookup.com/dish-network.php
Directv: http://sathookup.com/directv.php
HughesNet Satellite Internet: http://sathookup.com/hughesnet.php
Satellite internet is expensive (min $50/mo.) compared to cable and DSL high speed internet, and is slower. I recommend you go with those if available in your location, if not, satellite internet is decent.
im considering getting internet tv and none of them will say if they have animal planet, discovery channel, nat geo, etc. does anyone out there know???

Here you’ll find the best software to watch tv on the net
Hope this help,
we have dish network and dial-up phone service. And we want faster internet service and we cant afford both if we get faster internet service. should I get rid of dish network for faster internet, or the other way around?
Personally I’d rather have high speed internet. How many TV channels do you need anyway?
Like maybe some sort of card or usb device? But NO INTERNET CONNECTION.
to the best of my knowledge no. Not unless your satellite tv provider has some form of receiver that is for TV only and goes to your computer.
hi there,
i´ve recently found some site that offer me satellite TV (even american TV) through Internet. They only charge about 25 bucks once so i get their software and free to watch satellite through internet as long as i want. they also don´t provide a full list of the channels they are providing. and the sites look more or less like wannabe real professional sites.
therefore i´m afraid that it is scam - can any1 confirm?
i´m talking about sites like
http://satellitepcpro.com/
http://isoftwaretv.com/
http://satellitedirect.tv/
The only "American" TV will be religious channels, at best.
The major channels commercial channels will not permit such a service to carry their programming. They would demand monthly payments, access controls, DRM, and regional market protection similar to traditional pay TV.
Generally, such offerings are considered scams.
is there any physical and psychological hazards likely to arise out of rampant use of mobile technology and internet on living being?
Virtual vs real world - overuse and subjecting oneself to these fantastic mediums can result your becoming disengaged with the real world. The virtual world commands specific set of behaviors, when used excessively, that can be offensive to people in the real world. For example, talking loud on the cell phone in public places can annoy people and cut through their already stress filled lives. Also, it is considered rude not to be mindful of the presence of people that have no choice but to listen to your conversation. Also, watching too much of the moving image turns the person into a passive being. Hence, resulting in losing ones ability to listen to layered music or engage in a dialogue actively. The risk cannot be easily predicted and to what extent. But the risk is alienation, passivity, and an overall fuzziness between the virtual and the real.
