I have a Toshiba Satellite A305D that is about 1 - 2 years old. It is running on Windows Vista Home Premium. The problem with this computer starting about a week ago or couple days ago is that the computer might shut off while I am doing something and when I turn it on again it will ask certain questions to how I want to start the PC because of an unexpected shut down. And sometimes it would turn off while it is sleeping and there would be no power to the PC and the Wi-Fi indicator would blink and I can’t turn the PC on. Would any body let me know what is going on with my PC?

You may want to check the even log accessed by Managing My computer and clicking on the event logs to see if anything was captured.
Could be software or hardware related. Event log might help you out. If you feel comfortable with it you may want to restore it to factory default. If that doesn’t help it’s likely a hardware issue.
Could also restore to an earlier restore point that you know for sure the problem wasnt happening during that time
hasa anyone heard about satellite to pc, I believe the company sales is satellitetopic.com. If u know about them do u know how to ger matches up on pc to watch:It says about watching through video feeds. what are they and how do I use them: I tried to do it for liverpool match but couldn’t get any connection. I’m a real div with this sort of thing, so don’t worry if you answer as though your talking to a seven year old etc, as I am a complete novice at all this I T stuff. I thank you all in advance of your replies.

Most that "sell" the software are SCAMS.
I have been ripped big time to find this out.
There are some very legit FREE IPTV (internet protocol TV) sites that have good service.

I bought this software a few days ago and clearly regretted it! Everytime I clicked on a TV or radio channel, it first indicates by telling me it’s connecting to media and later stop and displays a ‘Ready’ sign. I tried to click on ‘Play’ again and the same thing happens again! I seemingly discover that out of all of the channels being displayed, only a small section of it will work! I have a fast internet connection so it shouldn’t have being a problem!
Anyone has a clue to it?
Simple answer is the program is a piece of garbage. It’s just another scam. Promotes to say "300+ channels on your PC!" or some heap, but it’s all garbage. A few no-name channels out of the US, and that’s about it.
Luckily, a friend gave me a copy, so I obviously never ended up buying it myself.

my father received a company laptop. it was stolen from his car and he will be reciving a new machine he still has the toshiba satellite xp pro recovery disks. Could i use these to replace the xp home on my computer (an old blue gear laptop).
It might work, but if it does, the copy usually provides a pre-activated key. Since your laptop is not a toshiba, this key will be unavailable and you will need to supply your own. Also, the operating system will have toshiba- specific programs and utility managers. I would recommend that you stay with Windows XP home.
Does DishNetPc TV or Satellite TV for PC software really work? Is it really live tv in HD? What common channels do you get that Comcast, Direcway or Dish Network also offer?
Only if you have some way to connect that dish to your PC!
