Which of those tv software programs actually work? I’ve tried several and either they don’t work,or only a few of the channels work,or it’s not live and the channels are just replays of old things.
For those who don’t know what I’m talking about,I mean the programs you get that claim that you can watch live tv/satellite through their program.(Movies,cartoons,sports,etc.)
Serious and on topic answers only please.Which worked best for you? Thank you.
None of the really work well. They are nothing more than glorified streams. If you want to watch TV, the only real way to do it is to actually buy satellite TV or get a TV and an antenna.
I came across a few sites offering over 3000 channels by downloading their software and watching through your PC. It costs a one off $50 but that’s it. Sounds too good to be true? Is it?
some of them are legal and they are great, I have been using satellite tv for pc which is a legal program for almost 2 years and get close to 3000 channels, here is the site for product review info: http://www.youronlineproductreview.com/satellitepc/

I keep seeing it advertised on sports questions where people suggest it to watch sports online, Has anyone here actually downloaded it and does it work, is it like having satellite TV on your computer?
Andrew -
To answer your questions - yes.
Most all of the big sports channels are online - and usually free to access. There is over 6,000 channels now available, although some real popular sports series can be a pay-per-view.
Some of the better software packages will even let you record your shows - like a PVR or TIVO - on your computer.
Give it a try!
