What are the charges to watch television through internet on PC in INDIA ?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 5:46 pm

There are no charges, as long as you have a fast enough internet connection and if it isn’t unlimited, don’t go over your limit because streaming video will go over it pretty quick. Heres a website with Indian & Paki tv channels. This website is absolutely free, no sign up, nothing.

when i switch television over to internet tv why wont it work on surround sound only the tv speakers?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 6:08 am

I have A sony tv and surround system but when I switch the tv over to internet tv the sound will only run through tv speakers not surround system how can i run the internet tv through surround sound thanks

Your question isn’t very clear. What are you switching FROM? What are you using for surround sound? How are you connecting to the internet? Is the TV internet enabled? Are you connecting via an internet enabled bluray player?

Assuming that you have a surround sound amplifier and your TV is internet aware, you have to provide a path for the audio from your TV to your amplifier. What kind of path depends on the specific TV and the specific amplifier.

Typically flat screen TV’s have a digital audio output, and most surround sound amplifiers have digital audio inputs. Connect the two with the appropriate cable and you’re good to go, although you’ll still have to READ THE USER MANUAL for the surround sound system to figure out which sequence of buttons enable sound from the digital input. I know how to do it on my Onkyo receiver, but I’m sure its different for yours.

What format does a movie have to be in if copied from the internet, so it will play on your television?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 1:33 am

movie formats that play on my television

The answer depends on how you’re playing the video on your TV.
(1) If you’re hooking your computer to your TV, you can play any format your computer can play.

(2) If you’re using DVD, the video can be in any format your DVD burning software can handle. MPG, AVI, quicktime, and DIVX are common formats.

(3) If you’re using Tivo, extra software you can play downloaded videos.

(4) If you’re using your iPod, you just need the right cables.

(5) If you’re using your TV’s USB port and a Flash Drive, I don’t know the answer. Read the manual for your TV.

Why is it that everyone on the internet and television is an idiot?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 1:12 am

I’m dead serious. Everyone I see on the internet or t.v is literally an idiot. I can’t even imagine how they get dressed in the morning. And yet everyone I know in real life is sensible and reasonable. It’s almost like the internet is a completely different world. Why is this? Is the real world really this full of idiots?
Joseph: I’m talking about things like news shows and reality shows, there are no people to be called idiots on the channels you suggested, as the only live person is a narrator.

Your question would be clearer if you defined "idiot." People on TV are performers, and as such, are often phony. People on the Internet are the full spectrum of humanity - of which "idiots" (irrational, insincere, unintelligent) are only a small percentage. I wonder why you need to be so judgmental - ?

Where can I listen to the CNN television on the internet streaming?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 7:29 am

Campbell Brown, Larry King, all those people. I’d like to listen to it on my computer.

Here is the link
http://www.cnn.com/live/
You can access live video, live news, in fact pretty much anything you can get on the TV, you can also get on their internet website!

Here is a different link to their homepage where you can also read the headlines:
http://www.cnn.com/

If you are looking for anything in particular, use the search box at the top of the page. If your topic is a timely one, you will likely find it in the list of "hot topics", just look right under the red CNN logo and you’ll see clickable hot topic links.

What do you think would happen if there was no more pornography on the internet or television?

We would be partly into the thousand-year reign of Jesus on earth and the Devil would be screaming to get out of the pit he will be sealed in.

Does anyone have information on Legal Internet Television websites - such as TV on the net dotcom?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 7:55 am

I am not interested in Free sites, because they ruthlessly pour crap/trackers/viruses/worms into the computers hard drive.

I would just like to find out if anyone has had first hand experience with any of them or where I can find out more information. The sites themselves do not seem to say much, which makes me leery in the first place.

Here is a good site for free tv.

What year will it be when nearly everyone has a television with the internet built in?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 7:58 am

I want to relax on my couch in front of my widescreen while I surf.

Its really not difficult or expensive today. One way for the person on a budget is to run the s-video output from any decent video card (got a nice one once for $30 used on e bay) to an RF modulator ($10-20) and from there run a coax to the tv. Some nicer tv’s (most likely your widescreen) even have s-video inputs. Wireless-rechargeable mouse and keyboards are very common for the couch factor. Ive got to be honest, using a modulator to coax and not directly cuts the quality down quite a lot and compares to antennae tv but it is still great for those commercial free tv downloads!
