Alright, so here’s the deal. I’m trying to get Live TV to play on my TV through my Wii. My dad has a TV Tuner downstairs and we have a cable connection, but I don’t have a cord long enough, so I thought that if I had a program that could stream Live TV from my dad’s TV tuner, from his computer, UP to my computer, I would be able to watch TV.
I’ve already tried using Orb, it works, but it won’t let me watch TV on my Wii and my dad watch his shows on his computer at the same time. Thanks for you help!
As far as i know you can`t get live tv on your wii or any type for that matter.
The only thing you can get on the wii is bbc iplayer
Heard my friends talk about watching shows on their computers… How can I watch TV episodes on my laptop? Is there a website that I have to go to or software to download?
Netflix.
nine bucks a month.
and you can watch brand new movies(:
I’m sure I have a better computer than a lot of people, but at the same time, it is old. Nonetheless, I feel as if I should be getting quality. I’m purchasing a video-dSLR soon and this is unacceptable. I can’t even watch standard streaming videos without it chopping up - let alone 1080p on vimeo or youtube! Could it be a virus or do I just have an outdated (2005) computer? Here are some of its stats: 1 gb memory, 250 gb HD, and 820 intel pentium D processor (2.8ghz). The irony of it is that it is meant to record cable TV. it has windows xp media center, but i stopped using it because of the same reason (lag, choppiness, freezes computer up). i never really needed cable tv on my cpu, but now i NEED better video performance. possible explanations or solutions? i’d hate to have to buy a new cpu. if i need to upgrade something, what component is correlated with video performance?
what do video cards do? which helps more and in what way: video card, "more ram"?
A) You need more RAM.
B) Your processor is pretty old. I remember when I was building my current PC back in 2006 or 2007, I ended up buying a new to the market processor, but before that many of my geek friends discouraged me from buying a Pentium D processor since it did not compare at all to the processors available back then, let alone now.
C) Judging from the specs you’ve provided, your video card might be out of date as well, especially if it the onboard video that came with the computer and not an ungraded video card.
they’re talking in a big room…..same with itunes playback. I have XP. How can I change this please?
No it used to sound fine! I know how to rectify this problem in vista but not XP!
I’m afraid you can’t. The sound track on the playback is the same as the original transmission. If they were talking in a big room or venue when the original transmission was made then that’s what you will get.
I’m assuming you mean like a slight echo or background noises? Then yes that is what you will get.
Package says they are pre-moistened and lint free…Ideal for TV & computer screensand most electronic equipment….(says do not use on camera lenses.)
Well, I haven’t used them on my new LCD screen yet but don’t want to smudge it or ruin the screen….Any idea if they are safe or what is?
Just use a microfiber cloth.
I bought an HD TV with computer connection and my computers HD Display wasn’t on the correct setting because I can’t see anything so I need help on changing the settings on the computer to HD without connecting it back to a normal monitor.
If you are using a laptop there should be a projection view button, usually incorporating your function key. Try using this. If you are on a desktop then you are going to most likely have to hook it back up to another monitor to change the setting. If so, you can usually find a regular monitor at a thrift store for around $5.
I’ve heard of S-video cables, and I was wondering if I needed additional software and such. Also, can I use my computer speakers to play the audio, just displaying the video on my TV?
It depends on the TV..
If you have an HDTV with HDMI or VGA ports, it is computer-ready and you can connect it to your Macbook with the right adapter, sold separately.
You need the miniDVI-to-DVI or -VGA adapters for the old Macbook, or miniDisplayPort-to-DVI or -VGA adapters for the new LED Macbook. To connect to HDMI, you will need the -DVI adapter and a DVI-to-HDMI cable.
If you have an old boob-tube TV that does not have HDMI or VGA, then it becomes more difficult. The older Macbook with miniDVI has a miniDVI-to-AV adapter that will put out a composite signal older boob-tube TVs can use, though composite looks like crap (it’s the nature of the low-definition composite signal.)
The new LED Macbook cannot be connected to old boob-tube TVs at all unless you buy some sort of scan converter– Apple does not make a miniDisplayPort-to-AV adapter.
Go to a computer shop ask them for a tv-to pc software to see tv on pc
Good luck!
Is it an online recorded tv or live tv ? Does it need special requirements like tv tuner, areal antenna or what else ? I am interested in gathering a lot of info relating with it. Can you tell me what site can provide all info about that product ?
