How does web TV work on mobile phone? Does it run through the internet?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 3:58 pm

I really fancy N8 phone that came out last week. I would love to watch tv on it but dont really get how it works. My friend got it on orange and she says she cant really watch it, it doesnt work. She can use up to 500MB a month. Is this why? Is it too low for this service? Or how else can u watch it on the bus and such. Thanks guys:) I am not really tech type:) Do you recommend any other network?

If you are within a wi-fi zone the Nokia N8 can use its wireless functionality for data, then you wont hit any limits. But if you are browsing the internet and using data outside of a wi-fi zone then you use the mobile networks signal for your data transfer and you will have 500mb a month allowance.

500mb a month is suitable for most people but there are other tariffs available with different networks which give you a higher limit if you will be using the internet and downloading a lot. If you are in the UK and worried about exceeding your 500MB data allowance then T-mobile offers 1GB packages and Orange 750MB.

Whatever you do, keep an eye on your data allowance as mobile phone companies can charge a lot if you exceed your limit.

The below link shows you a comparison of how much data is included with various tariffs.

Good luck with choosing a suitable tariff!

I don’t know what other categories my website should have?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 5:01 am

I’m creating a website for people to hang out at and talk about anything and everything instead of having to go to different websites for different things, like photography and music. These are the categories I have so far:
TV & Web Shows
Anime
Movies
Music
Books
Animals
Sports
Hobbies
Weight Loss, Exercise & Dieting
Photography
Poetry

But I don’t know what else to add…what would YOU want a category for on a website like that?

How about ways to save money….
us young people are always out of cash!

for example if you have accord cards you get discounts ect.
or where to get freebies and samples vouchers off ect.

How do you remove the blue box titled TV on the wallpaper of a Samsung Preston?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 7:19 am

I have looked EVERYWHERE on the phone..!?!? There is just a blue box that you can move around that says TV at the top and below it 4 smaller icons that are marked TV, Foxtel, Movies and Live Events each with a little picture. When you click on the box it opens up to a web page…

I also own a Samsung Preston and had the same problem…

1.Look on the left side of the screen and you should see a black tab with a white sort of arrow on it, touch it, then the tab should open, this tab is called your "Widgets". Widgets are the little tabs or "shortcuts" that are stored in that one tab. You can access them by touching the black arrow tab and scrolling down to find your preferred widget. If you want the widget to be on your wallpaper, then touch and hold the widget, then drag it onto your wallpaper then touch the black arrow tab again to close the tab.

2. Touch and hold the TV box, then drag it onto (on the top) of the Widgets tab, then it should pop back into the widgets tab and you should then see the little thumbnail there in the tab.

Reminder- Sometimes when you drag the Widget onto the tab, it might just go behind it, if so, then just drag it away then drag it onto the tab again…

Hope this helps!

What is the best lcd monitor to play your ps3 on it?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 5:01 am

I want to know whats is the best quality of lcd monitor so I could play my ps3 on it. I have a plasma tv that I bought in 2003 and I hear that old plasma tv doesn’t go with a ps3 because it will break the tv. I want to use the monitor to surf the web, play ps3,watch movies and listen to musics. If possible send me a link.
Thanks in advance

you can consider buying Samsung P2250 22-Inch Widescreen Touch of Color LCD Monitor
The ultra-high 50,000:1 Dynamic Contrast ratio of the P2250 creates deeper, more dramatic dark tones and brighter, more striking light tones

where can i watch full friends episodes for free on the web?

Filed under: tv on the web — admin @ 8:12 pm

i tried alloftv.net and tv-links, and yourtvlinks but they don’t have all of the episodes, and seasons.

Try alluc.org. They usually have a lot to choose from.
