Just a website like hulu.com or something where I can watch movies or tv shows on the web in my iPod touch.
Most of Websites use Flash Player to show movies. Apple doesn’t want to use Flash in it’s products. Sorry..
I am living overseas and tried to listen/watch web radios/TVs for Gospel. I usually found Christian music on the web and very few non-music program (meaning in the form of speech). Can anyone give me some of the most popular http addresses? Thanks
I recommend the following:
I have internet only, no cable tv and want to watch web videos on tv, not just Netflix, also Youtube and hulu/fancast. My laptop is old, but I see new HDTVs for not too much $, that say they connect to the web — do they need a modem or is some kind of "set-top box" or modem built in? If they need a modem, can it be connected wirelessly so I can have it in a different room than my laptop?
you need a HDMI cable to connect your lap top to your TV.
I am trying to watch mms://bcast.tvr.by/video . It works on any other network: in the library, on AT&T DSL, but not in Comcast. And I have Comcast cable at home.
I called them many times, didn’t have a good luck finding technical support person who can solve the problem. Answers are like: I can’t watch it either here, so it’s the website problem. Or: when I type just the host part — bcast.tvr.by — it tell me under construction, so it’s a website problem.
Is there a special phone number where I can find the knowledgeable technical support person? How to deal with this? Or maybe dumping Comcast is the best option? But there is no other cable internet provider here where I live.
To GTB:
No, it’s not a subscription based website. It’s a free TV channel.
It is pretty much a certainty that if the specific site is active on other carriers but not active on Com Cast, it is being blocked at Com Cast for some reason. Com Cast people themselves tell you they cannot see it at their location so the issue is not a failure to dispatch the site to you.
Com Cast may offer what it beleives are suitable alternatives and they just do not wish to offer another service. Remember they pay a subscription fee to some items, and web sites that provide TV is often one with subscription fees.
This puts you into a situation where you either live with the Com Cast service or do without since you have no alternative.
Doing a research project on the BBC and whether it has stuff that if you are 16 or even 19 , you wanna watch or whether it is just for your mums, dads and grandma….no holds barred..tell me what you think !
Another spin on the question then..if you don’t see the value of so much news content, what would you like to see in its place ? And does the BBC cater for your music tastes ?
More Top Gear.Less Graham Norton
ipod touch does not have an output cable i think, and if it did yes because it shows whats directly on the screen to your tv so it will work
hope i helped =]
i went to abc.com and nbc. com and they only show me six min clips of heros and no lost shows. i know nothing about computers so nothing technical.
I don’t know, but I think it’s cool I can watch Jericho online after my Wednesday night Bible study
1. Are you going to watch the opening or closing ceremony?
2. If going to watch the games, which one(s)?
3. Are you watching them on TV, web cam, or attending the game live?
1. closing ceremony 2. track and swimming 3.on t.v
I need to rip/copy/download a 1 minute news story from a local TV stations web site. The news story is not posted on YOUTUBE therefore I cannot use the YOUTUBE DOWN-LOADER to copy it. Is there another way for me to do this?
http://camstudio.org/ would be the best choice, it basically will capture everything on your screen with lots of options, a bit costly but a free trial is available.
Depending on what type of player they are using, Fraps (at: http://www.fraps.com/ ) may be a viable option. Its meant for capturing game footage, but i have sucessfully used it many times on various online players with the exception of flash. Goes for $37 dollars.
http://camstudio.org/ might be another viable option. I have never used it myself, but its open source and free.
Another fool proof option would be to use a cheap digital camera or even your phone to capture what you want, granted quality might be slightly less, but remember your grabing from a newscast which is already poor quality.
And the last option which may not be so crazy, would be to actually contact the station itself. All stations archive everything they air. It may require some comunication but its not completley out of the question depending on your purpose.
How do I watch free live tv on the web? Thanks.
