I have directv and I also have a tv video card for my PC. I only have 1 box and I wanted to know if there was software that would replace the box for a pc with a tv tuner card? I have the Directv2pc program that lets you watch recorded shows on your pc. But I want to be able to watch live tv on my PC.

I watch TV episodes on my computer via internet. This is great, because I can click and watch the episode anytime. It would be great if I can see the online episodes on my TV.
How can I get the picture and sound from my internet PC to my TV - picture and sound synchronized?
I already tried S video cable from PC to TV; and PC sound output (headphone) to TV sound input. The problem is that the picture and sound are not synchronized (timing is messed up).

My TV is broken and I was wondering if there was a way to watch tv on my computer?

buy a tv tuner card. can plug the cable from the wall/cable box into the computer and watch it. (check the system requirements to make sure your computer is powerful enough first)

There are a couple of ways which you can watch Satellite TV on your pc. I would recommend getting the proper type of software for it though as it will be able to determine the quality and rating of many channels. I got my software at watchsatellietpc.com for about $20 bucks and it’s giving me free tv for life on my computer. They have hundreds of channels which you can also view, which is a big plus.

I was reading an article titled "PC-TV connection easy on the eyes" which explains that it’s possible to watch the PC content on your TV, however I checked the back connections on my TV and I don’t have a PC input; I only have HDMI inputs. Is it still possible to hook up my desktop to this tv without this input (PC) or how can I get around it?
