How do i do to watch tv on my PC?
There are a number of websites that offer TV shows that you can watch online. Hulu.com is one of them. A lot of the networks (for example: USA Today) offers shows online. Some news channels offer streaming news online.
I heard from some friends that its possible to watch tv on my pc. Am just curious,is there any software that can allow you to watch internet tv on your pc-via broadband

Does anyone know if there´s a way to watch tv on PC?
Hulu.com is the big name for watching TV over a broadband connection.
Most networks have a web site where you can download many of their shows.
If you are not on a broadband connection, you can use a TV tuner to receive broadcast (aka Over The Air, OTA) TV and view it on the computer.
If it is a desktop they make cards with up to two tuners to go inside the computer.
They also make USB tuners that you can plug into any computer.
Most of the tuners also come with Digital Video Recorder (DVR) software so that you can record programs to view at a different time.
I’m worried dialup will be too slow and it won’t be easy/enjoyable to watch local free to air TV chanels. I want to buy hi def dual digital tv tuner card ($$$!) but won’t if it’ll be uselss. Thanks for any advice.
The TV Tuner card uses your normal cable or air signal to play TV. Your internet speed doesn’t matter at all.

If machine that can watch TV by PC costs 150 dollars and
TV costs 350 dollars?
The wear & tear on your PC will end up costing you a lot more & you won’t have TV when your PC goes. I would go with the Television, it won’t hurt any other hard-ware if it breaks down & you wouldn’t have the cost of repair for several pieces.
So I downloaded the ORB app for my bb storm and you can watch tv, but i need a tv tuner for pc in order to watch tv on my storm. i have cable tv (dvr/receiver) and has the usb slot on it. so is it possible to connect that dvr/receiver to pc as a tv tuner via usb?
no as it is an input not an output.no you can use a slingbox as well to watch tv on your mobile device.
