I am trying to watch tv programmes by connecting my laptop to the tv wth an HDMI cable, i can see the video but there is no audio however i can get the audio on the tv for if i play a cd in my laptop, the problem is getting audio signal for internet programmes on my tv, any suggestions

I would remove my flash player and re-install it again. Most of the Internet streaming uses flash.

make sure when you play movies, you send PCM over HDMI and NOT Dolby or bitstream.

I would really like to watch live tv on my laptop because everyone else takes the other tv’s. Is there a website or a download where you can watch live tv like Disney and Discovery channel?

i don’t know of any downloads or sites but you could invest in a USb TV tuner card. It will turn your laptop into a TV and DVR.

Look at the TV settings menu.
Select s-video as input source.

You won’t be able to do that(the cables won’t work)
and if you do get the right cable– the port on you laptop is mostlikly an output port(not input) — so it’s a NO you can’t

Web TV went out of business and was taken over by Microsoft and their MSN TV service. You need a subscription to their new service if you wish to view the internet on your TV like Web TV.

If it’s from your computer to your TV, you will still need your computer to get connected to the internet.

Easy, use the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to rotate and object and up and down to change it. For example if you want to turn a tv on or change the channel push up or down. Note: You can’t usually rotate wall objects because they go on the angle of the wall.

why my laptop won’t display on my tv?

i bought a rca cable but when i plug it into my laptop and tv no picture is display.
It try to connect it to display on vista sony vaio laptop it says no display connected.
My function keys don’t work
I plug it in when laptop is not on and still doesn’t work

You need to go into the settings for the TV and switch the input from your regular TV input to PC. How to do that depends on the design of the TV, and you might need to find the manual for your TV if it isn’t obvious.

Assuming when you say internet TV, that means streaming off the intenet / website correct? If that is the case, it will continue to buffer because your internet speed cannot keep up with the rate of stream.
Only solution to this, is to upgrade your internet speed with your Internet Service Provider, or if available, lower the quality of the video.

I pay for internet and tv service through cox, it is expensive. I think my cell phone co., AT&T offers cheaper internet but would it be cheaper to watch tv through my computer? What would I need to do to watch tv on computer? Can I use an anolog box to watch tv without having to pay for service?
