Hi, I would like to know more about internet tv. Some one sent me an advert about a software about it.?

Are they free software that could make it possible or do I have to buy one. Do I really need a special software to watch thousands of channels over the internet? Would appreciate all the help. Thanks

    Some of the channels work with windows media player, others require extra software which is available on the site.
