I don’t know about the first one that you mentioned, but the second one does work. There are some conditions though. First of all, you have to get a fast Internet connection. It must be at least 1 mbps, maybe a 2 mbps connection is a better option. Next, you shall only get to see free to air channels, not pay channels.

If you are ok with that, then only you should consider these software TVs, else not. If you decide to consider, you may want to look at this:

No it doesn’t work, but if you don’t believe me, you can spend $50 on software from an overseas spammer. If it sounds too good to be true, it isn’t.

If it was legal and worked, I would set all my customers up with it and instead of charging $50 up front, would charge $9.95/mo that way I make more money in the long run.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work the way they represent it, so they know they need to get the $50 from you at once, because they won’t be able to get more from you later on.

I dont know about those two that you mentioned but the one I use http://www.satellitedirectonpc.info actually works. I actually cancelled my cable subscription and just watch everything on my pc, its great would be nice if I knew about this earlier.

Yes they work…..but u need 2pay for them lol myself dont think u need 2pay for anything on the net….if u look in the right playes everythings free….mean everything like movies or any overs ur sayin…hope someone gives the Answer ur looking for :)~

They both are good software;and you get most major channels. I prefer DishNet PC. Good Luck on your choice!!
