Does satellite tv software for pc really work or is a load of crap?
I am think about trying getting this so I can watch my favourite shows from America & try new shows from around the world.

load of crap. if you "buy" it they will most likely send you a bunch of freeware and/or demo applications. the best you can get without paying even more is foreign channels and news channels with VERY little interesting ones.
