unfortunately, there are no satellite tv channels in all satellite tv for pc. they are all pre-recorded movies and tv shows from the actual satellite tv channels.

There are a lot. But before you go for one, you need to understand a few things. Only then you can take an educated decision.

In satellite TV you may not be able to watch the pay channels, so make sure that you know beforehand whether your favorite channels are available. Also, if you go for this option, then make sure you have a fast Internet connection - at least 1 mbps. The good of this one is that the cost is only 1-time installation cost, and there is no further cost unlike cable TV.

Now, there are software packages of different qualities, I suggest go for the first one in this list if you want a really good software:
