Mark is right. You need to have at least 1 mbps to 2 mbps internet connection speed to use satellite TV for PC. It’s because buffering a large amount of movie file with a slow connection can piss you off.

You can find on the bottom-right corner of the page of http://www.dish-network-vs-direct-tv.com/ a list of recommended cheap satellite TV for PC.

Wait before you buy. What is your Internet speed? If that is not good, then do not buy. I recommend at least 1 mbps and more preferably 2 mbps as the minimum Internet speed.

If you have a budget constraint as you mentioned, the second one on the same list may work for you - see whether that is the case.
