Satellite service companies like Direct TV or Dish have digital HD receiver boxes available which has either DVI or HDMI outputs that you can connect directly to your S2409W. The regular-definition satellite boxes don't have DVI or HDMI, so those won't work. If you don't have a digital HD satellite box, call your satellite TV service and upgrade. As far as connecting a DVD player goes, buy a Blu-Ray player.
