avast or avira for anti v
malwarebytes , superantispyware, for spyware
zonealarm, online armor…..firewall
ccleaner….registry junk files cleaner
revo uninstaller …gets rid of files better than add/remove programs , add remove leaves files scattered on your com revo dont

Free software? lemme see….
Download accelerator plus (makes downloads MUCH faster)
AVG anti virus- free edition (anti virus)
Open office (pretty much like microsoft office, except free)
GIMP (free photo editing software, like photoshop)
Paint.net ( like above)
Google any of those if you want ‘em.
Also, http://www.download.com has lots of free stuff.
For games, check out http://www.armorgames.com

Without a doubt! AVG antivirus!! Think about all the viruses and Trojans that u would have in ur comp!
