which satellite TV system is better dish or direct TV?

Filed under: satellite tv systems — admin @ 6:01 am

Having never had Direct TV, I really can't say. But, I had Dish for 5 years and I have to say that the customer service and dependability were pretty great. Just like any satellite network, the weather will sometimes cause problems, but for the most part, the problems are very spotty and usually don't last long unless you are in the middle of a giant thunder storm or it is super windy.

  2. Dish net work by far has better programing and HD abilities.
Way better customer service then Direct and a lot easer to use guides, electronics and menus. Direct TV says they have more HD. They might have a lot, but you pay more then Dish.
I use to install satellites and always found the people at Dish Network to more help full. Direct may haves its ups, but not many.

  3. Depends on what you like to watch, I have had both and i personally prefer directv. Directv offers a ton more sports and way more hd if thats what youre into. Dish is however slightly cheaper if youre just looking for basic programming and the equipment charge is slightly less as you can run two tvs off of one receiver and still watch different channels on both. Takarie couldnt be more wrong about the hd, dish hd access i believe is around $20 a month, Directv is only $10 for nearly 90 hd channels.
