How can I connect my computer to my television screen?
I have a few movies on my computer that I’ve downloaded through the digital copy thing, but I can’t watch them with my family unless they all huddle around my laptop. Is this there a special adapter or something for my Dell laptop and (probably 10 years old…) Sharp television??
Most new HDTVs have VGA or HDMI ports, if so look in your TV manual to find out about connecting a laptop which will almost certainly have either of these connecters. If you do not have an HDTV, you probably will be unable to connect your laptop unless it has a S-Video/ Composite video(unlikely) port.
