This is what I did when my friend went and slammed the monitor down, and smashed the LCD.

Previously, we had gone out and bought an ATI Radion 9250, Graphics card, it has the option to plug in a S-Video 12' cord.

He smashed the screen, I plugged the 12' S-Video into the comp.

Heres the steps.

1. Get a graphics card, like ATI Radions 9250, w/ S-Video Out.

2. Get an S-Video Cord.

3. Plug the S-Video into the back of your comp.

*4. Plug the other end into the "Big enough screen".

*Some TV Screens will not show you the detail esspecially the text on the screen.

This is what type of TV I have.

Phillips 60" DLP HD Ready, TV .

Compaired to the one I tried it on, RCA 27" CRT.

The RCA is not cool.

But either is the Phillips, but the phillips displays the information 100X better.

So the result on that, is, the bigger the TV, the better the picture, that I know of so far.
References :
Experiance

if your laptop has a s-video output you can get a s-vdeo to s-video or a s-video to 3 rca cable, depending what inputs your TV has.
