Problem connecting computer to television with HDMI-HDMI cable?
the cable is connected to both, fits well, the tv is in the correct channel for the HDMI, i set my computer to recognize the screen, it says the tv screen was recognised, everything is fine. ‘cept the tv doesn’t show the computer screen. it’s black.
all it says on the tv is "no input signal"
however, eveything is perfectly connected…am i missing something really important?
First…make sure the computers resolution matches the TV’s native resolution and make sure the video drivers are up-to-date.
If that doesn’t help, then try this: shut down the computer and turn off the TV. Make sure HDMI cable is connected to both, then boot up your computer. Once the computer is ready to go, turn on the TV. Hopefully the computer will recognize the TV this way!

What type of computer do you have? Does it have a Nvidia or ATI video card? Normally the TV has to set up as clone or expanded. these options can be found normally by right clicking on the desktop and selecting either the Nvidia or ATI display manager.
Also there might be a icon near the clock on the task bar (The bottom one with the start button/Windows button).
