Want to connect computer to television?
I am trying to connect my laptop to my tv so I can visit websites on my computer and have them go on the television screen and listen to music and hear it through the TV. I’m not sure what kind of hook-ups or cords I need to do this. Please let me know.
It depends on the outputs on your laptop amd inputs on the TV
Mine just has a VGA connector (15 pins)
It works OK, you can even use both monitors at the same time, but no audio on the TV, it’s just like a regular PC monitor
Some newer laptops and HDTVs have HDMI connectors, these have both audio and video signals.
yes it is posible but you need to buy a cord with multi pins,you can ask any electronic shop but make sure your tv is modern type with vga socket as the one on your pc.

see if your laptop have an RGB (monitor )port or S-video (tv out) port.then check your TV if it does have this input connections.you need appropriate cable wire for its connections.
