what category do movies/television/videogames/internet fall under?

Filed under: television on internet — admin @ 7:59 am

not on yahoo.
like in real life.
im writing an essay about how these topics are good for our society.
technological _____?
like videogames are simulations
but is there a giant topic to put them in?

my friend said the media, but im not including things like that!

Entertainment, I’d say.

There are different types of entertainment. Technological entertainment covers all of what you listed. Then there also things like social entertainment, which covers sports, parties, etc.

  1. They are forms of media like books and newspapers. You could call them entertainment.

  2. video games arent simulations, simulations are ever so different.. and all these categories go under "entertainment!"
Movies, some movies are based on true stories, events etc.. so movies are good just genuinely for entertainment, television, so much rubbish on, whilst there is alot of brain building material on tele too, so in sense, tele is good for educational and entertainment purposes, video games and internet are good for practical skills, like knowing how to use a computer, use the internet appropriately and for socially, gaming, learning some skills, how to understand the word technique, cos alot of games these days, you got to use your head to get ahead, and by that you gotta formulate a plan, and to use a technique how to do it.
