The Christians in those days were actually persecuted, they were tortured and killed for their beliefs. These days, I think many Christians believe that if they cannot get everything their way, they claim persecution. This claim is a slap in the face to all that have died for their religion, and all other faiths throughout time. I am a Christian and am embarrassed when I hear these people crying persecution.

It’s people like you that give unbelievers a bad name. Why don’t you take your sorry attitude somewhere else. You have no room to condemn anyone else until you start acting like a responsible adult instead of a whining child.
EDIT: For the information of you misinformed zealots who love to persecute people you know nothing about - Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormon’s and such cults are not Christian. If you don’t like them go to the Mormon and JW room and blast them with your ignorant comments. They don’t represent Christianity and never will.

They looked a slide shows of Christian-haters and people of any other religion that wasn’t Christian and got depressed and felt sorry for themselves.

We got to listen to the Jews and the coloreds crying about how unfair us Christians were treating them. The thanks we get after we got rid of the Nazi’s and let Jackie Robinson into the majors.

Before TV and the Internet–there were a lot more Christian–being a Christian was in vogue. There was no shame in being Christian. There was shame in being an atheist. Check it out.

They tended to avoid people like you, because unlike now, people like you who ask silly questions based on generalisations and stereotypes that are consistantly proven inaccurate couldn’t use a form of communication that allowed them to incite arguement and discord with virtual total anonymity.
P.S. For anyone about to suggest you could do that with Newspapers etc, what about the editor, the printers, they know who the person is…
