if you are looking for multi-lingual tv, online tv social community, social tv network, internet tv stations, tv channels, free global internet tv, broadband channels, live webcast, customized tv programmes, After testing various TV software and visiting loads of sites. most of them offer a free trial or preview and then they make you pay to sign up, or are cluttered with ads. I think that is ridiculous… so ive done my research and have found a couple of really decent sites. The first one Id like to draw your attention to is (http://www.viewmy.tv) This site has almost 1300 channels from around the globe and counting. it is free to register and they dont ask for stupid details, just your username and email address. It actually streams live channels so you dont have to download any and they have a pretty easy way of finding the channel you want. You can search through genre, country, region or name of the channel. oh and there are no ads either. Check this one out. This is a loaded question. Remember you are asking a bunch of people who are in front of the computer answering your question instead of watchin Flava of Love or Dirty Jobs right now.
Internet over TV for instant info.
TV over internet for Drama and production values.

That being said, eventually they will be one and the same. With On-Demand services available from cable and DirecTV you are already starting to get the instant access like with internet. TV shows are being rebroadcast over network websites. Apple TV, VUDU and Netflicks are already offering direct movie downloads to watch on the TV through the internet. Further advances like IPTV are being worked out and Media Center PCs are all the rage. Pretty soon you will have advanced GUIs and simple remotes that act as a mouse to access any part of the internet right through your TV(Think Wii nunchucks). PS3 and XBox360 can already do this.
If you don’t think it is all combining just think of all the things your phone can do right now. It is called convergence.

Besides people want to watch together. Everybody sitting around the computer monitor ain’t great. People want their 42-60"+.

television. the internet gets REALLY boring after a while. but the tv is fun and dramatic and involves your emotions.. internet is fun.. but tv rocks!!

internet. but whos to say television isnt nice

i hated it when every teacher says tv isnt good for you. when i learned far more watching television than i do in there classes all year.

if its so bad for you . why are they in all the hospital rooms?
