how do you watch your vid. from your camera on a tv/computer while filming?
Do you need a special camera? Or a certin cable?
The easiest thing is connecting the Camcorder to a TV. As all camcorders that I am aware of can do it without taking something out. All you need to do is connect AV output of the camera to the TV (if the TV has AV inputs). Usually the cables are color coded where yellow means video and red and whit is audio. Some camcorders require a special cable (normally provided with the camera) that has a mini jack (looks like the plug in most headphones) that has a 3 connection support and breakup to three cables (with RCA ends). In a few cameras you actually need to activate the output (usually a setting in the menu section).
For the computer connection, it gets complicated and usually requires cables that you may not have. For that I recommend to have a friend that is computer/video savy as this is not a simple undertaking in some cases.
no, you can’t, usually when connected to the computer it’s in usb mode only. unless it mentions that it’s a digital/web camera then you just have to install the hardware and it should be recognized as a camera.

Just connect av output from camera to tv. If for computer try using a firewire cable, provided that your computer has a firwire card.
