Want tv with multi-screen capability with tv & computer on the screens. Is this HW or SW?
I am looking to purchase a new LCD or Plasma television and I want one that allows me to show two screens, computer and television, at the same time. The ones I have seen have PIP but I would prefer something where the two screens are the same size. Do I have to purchase an upscale television or is this something that can be done with any LCD or Plasma television? Is there software that I should research? Do you have a suggestion on what I should purchase?

most models offer 3 inputs for computers 2 DB-15 and 1 DVI
only the DB-15 inputs will force a columar pixel pattern
making text clearer on computer display
In order to have a PC picture and regular tv on screen, you will want a LCD tv with split screen PIP. DO NOT get plasma,especially if you want to do any graphics. Most manufacturers have not taken care of the burn-in (image retention) issue yet. I suggest going with a larger Samsung. They have very clear displays and you will actually be able to see what you are watching or working on.
