Do you believe the TV/ Internet stories on Maurice Clemmons? Something seems fishy right?
How was he so wealthy (always helping neighbors financially, 15,000 bail)? Why were the cops following him? How did they know it was him so fast? Seems easy to blame a delusional man, right? Scare the copycats, right? Why did he kill Lakewood police in Parkland? No motive? What are they covering up? Why do people believe anything on TV?
I have no idea what his motive was, but it sounds a lot like a case in Kirkwood, Missouri close to 2 years ago, when a business man, who was not really poor but lived in a fairly poor, African American neighborhood, and was having a dispute with the local city government walked into a courthouse where a city council meeting was being held, and killed about 7 people, including 2 police officers and the mayor of the city died months later of his injuries. He died at the scene. Even though there was no manhunt, the police knew who he was when they saw him.
Being ‘rich’ does not make somebody innocent. In the case I’m talking about, the shooter was known to the police and the city officials. Clemmons may have been, too. The people at the diner where the police were shot may have known who he was, I don’t think it was a large town.
Do you mean the cops were following him before the shooting or when he was caught? They apparently knew all along who he was, either he was recognized or left some kind of evidence, fingerprints or something at the scene. Once the shooting took place, I don’t think they had a lot of suspects, just one.
THE BAIL AHD TO BE MADE BY RELATIVE PUTTING PROPERTY UP AS COLLATERAL AND LETS US THANK GOD HE IS DEAD AND THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED HIM ARE IN JAILS

Oh, was he the victim? A story I read said that Clemmons himself told people that he had been shot in struggle with one of the officers. These people notified to police. Another witness said that Clemmons said he was planning on killing cops. Here is a quote that I read in a news article.
On the night before the coffee shop killings, Pierce County prosecutors claim Maurice Clemmons showed two handguns to his half–brother and at least two other friends. Sheriff’s detective Ed Troyer says Clemmons told those buddies he was going to shoot police.
Why would the media and police make these stories up? Are you more concerned about the cop killer than the 4 dead police officers?
