You can buy a USB TV dongle such as freecom or pinnacle. This will give you access to all the freeview channels - or you can use BBC iplayer if you have a broadband connection.
They all come with basic viewing/recording software. More expensive dongles have dual tuners so you can watch 1 channel and record another at the same time and have better software

If you buy the TV dongle then you do need a good external aerial - the same as you would if you had a freeview box. Here are some links

Yes! I bought this PC TV, thats call Pinnacle… It work 100% and it is just great for camping because it uses a USB antenna.
