buy a pinacle tv tuner only 99$ really cheap..i own one myself theyre great u can get them at your local bestbuy u can even plug your cable in it..

You need a tv tuner ,it cost about $70-$100 ,you also need a three way to connect to your cable tv and a short cable mostly it is included in your kits..just go to google and search for TV TUNER s .

If the laptop did not come with a TV Tuner, you will need to buy an external TV Tuner to be able to use Windows Media Center.

I have found that the problems usually start with the specific TV having the right parallel & or S video ports. Standard Cable wires don’t plug into computers.
