How can I connect Netflix from my computer to my Blueray player?

Filed under: tv on my computer — admin @ 11:38 pm

I have Netflix on my computer and I want to be able to dicplay the movies on my TV. I have a Blueray player connected to my TV that has a HDMI port. I bought a HDMI cord and connected them but I still cant get the movies to show on my television. Help Please!!!

1) Your Blu-ray player will say on the box if it supports Netflix, so I’d check. It it does support it, there should be a Netflix option on the Blu-ray player’s menu.

2) You’ll have to connect it online (to a high-speed connection) in order to use Netflix. There’s two ways to do this: wired and wireless. With wired, you’ll need to run an ethernet cable from your Blu-ray player to your modem. With wireless, you’ll need to have your modem connected to a router and have a wireless network set up. To connect the Blu-ray player, you either A) need to buy a wireless adapter (the entry to mid-range players tend to make you do this) and then go through the network settings and get connected, or B) go directly the network settings on your Blu-ray player and get connected (this is only if your Blu-ray player has built-in wi-fi so you don’t need an adapter).

3) You should be good to go. If not, check out Netflix’s website to try to find a solution to get it going.
