How do they put those computer-generated lines on the TV screen for football games?
Would like to know more about the technology they use for putting a line on the field for the line of scrimmage and first down markers.
Adding the line to a game broadcast is an impressive feat of logistics and engineering. It takes surveying equipment, special video cameras, a rack of computers and a staff of operators to insert a simple line and change it every time a first down is made.
You can find out more at the following link.
