How does TV/computer hurt your eyes?

Filed under: tv on my computer — admin @ 9:32 am

I do not have a single reasonable answer to this question. Some people say it’s radiation. Then why aren’t there cases of extremely mutated eyes, or eyes that got better through mutation? Some people say it’s because you’re focusing on something close, therefore your eyes would get used to it. But then couldn’t you just stare really far away for a long time and your eyes would be better? I need an answer. My eyes are getting worse, yes, but I say it’s because it runs in the family (all my family wears glasses.)

There is absolutely no radiation being emitted from a TV or a monitor.

TV doesn’t cause any eye problems either. They are far enough away that distance vision is being used.

Monitors can cause eyestrain when used for too long , because it is constant close vision… but that is just a temporary discomfort.

Try and keep your monitor 28 to 30 inches away, and take very frequent breaks to look away from the screen.
