I couldn’t tell ya. I don’t mind if my husband plays video games for an hour or so, but if I want some attention he is happy to turn it off.

I had a friend go through this. He had a lot of hangups and thought that he was being disrespectful if he jumped at every chance he got. Once that one was gone the rest fell away.

Other men just have bad hang ups. They can have all the same insecurities as women, and have usually learned not to talk about them. Sometimes they don’t think they can talk because they are men, and men should be stronger than that. Sometimes it’s because sex is perceived as dirty. Sometimes they are just stubborn. Either way, a football game or Halo 3 is much more acceptable than admitting to any possible weakness.

I am astounded. All it takes from my wife is a hug or a look and I’m ready to go. What does he say? Don’t take no for an answer is all I can think of.

Hi. I am sorry to hear your frustration. I am sorry that you are in this situation.

I hope that you can communicate this to your husband. Communication is key in every relationship. It is so important to be open and kind to one another. Even if you have something to say that may not settle too well with him, talk to him. Maybe he didn’t realize what he was doing. In a way, many men are a completely different being, even though we are the same species. They don’t think the same way we do, and sometimes don’t think about our feelings, because they don’t feel the same way. That said, men have feelings too, and you have to remember that when you are talking to him.

Remember to be kind and open. Listen to what he feels and wants in your relationship. Maybe he genuinely didn’t want you to think he just wants you for sex.

I don’t know the whole situation, but I wish you well. I used to have a "vidiot" for a spouse, and it was no fun. However, that was not our only problem, and it did not work out with us.

I wish you luck! Hope that you can communicate to him how you feel!

There is this delicate balance between men’s penises and their electronics. Men have to realize that spending 16 hours a day on the computer and ignoring their wife’s advances is not good for the marriage. Sex is always on the brain for men. However, men do have short attention spans and can always be distracted by one thing or another. Sit down with your husband and just LET HIM know that you have not had sex in ?? amount of time and that he has been ignoring your advances. Don’t nag him with why this or why that? Let tell him " I just wanted to let you know that we have not done ???

wish i had the answer to that one. now, i am surprised he turned down sex. usually men just don’t, repeat, don’t turn down sex no matter what. but as far as putting everything and everyone ahead of their wife, that just sometimes, excuse me, lots of time, happens. no ,they do not realize that is what makes women just want to run away. they just don’t get it and probably never will. they tend to get very complacent about the marriage. you sound like a young couple so the sex thing is a bit perplexing. i would kind of be watching him if you know what i mean. sorry about that. good luck to you.
