Check your 42" LG HDTV and see if it has a "PC input" or "DB15". That would be a standard VGA jack, which you can connect to your Presario using a standard VGA monitor cable. VGA will give you a FAR superior image than S-video, which is LOW DEFINITION only.<br><b>References : </b><br> Don’t use that S-video garbage.
