You won't be able to watch multiple shows at once, no matter what you do, if you install another program to watch live TV it will conflict with your other program that's using the TV Tuner. But what I think you are looking for is the ability to record more then 1 show at once. You can do this with Windows Media Center but you also need an additional TV tuner. To record 2 shows at once, or record one show and watch another at the same time, 2 tuners are required. Just get an identical Tuner like you have now, install it and run through the Media Center setup and you should be good to go. If for some reason you don't have enough PCI/PCIe slots on your PC, you can purchase a dual TV Tuner card, two tuners built into the 1 card.
References :
Unless your receiver can run dual feeds then no.

Also, to answer another possible question.
Unless your receiver can run dual feeds then you can't
record on two different channels either.
